360 feedback only works when raters trust the process. Capablio uses release policies so aggregated results are shared when there is enough participation — not when a single response could skew the narrative.
What stays protected
- Individual rater responses are not shown to managers or HR by default.
- Aggregated themes release when configured thresholds are met (for example, minimum responses per rater group).
- Admins can review release status before results go to the leader.
Why thresholds matter
Small teams and matrixed organizations often worry that "anonymous" feedback is identifiable. Thresholds reduce that risk and set clear expectations with raters: your voice joins a pattern, not a spotlight.
Transparency for program owners
HR and people partners see participation progress without seeing individual answers. That makes it easier to nudge thoughtfully without compromising confidentiality.
Governance, not gatekeeping
Thresholds are a governance control, not a barrier to development. When a group is below threshold, program owners can extend the collection window or adjust rater lists — not pressure individuals to respond.
